Conversations, programs, and community we’ve built with Avenue.
In collaboration with Parsons School of Design's Industry Insiders NYC, Avenue welcomed Gabe Warshaw (Baton), Eugene Chang (Tangible Creative), and Robert Kelly (Techstars). From defining a founder's North Star to understanding the role accelerators play beyond funding, our speakers shared honest insights from their own journeys building companies, raising capital, and navigating the intersection of creativity and entrepreneurship. The conversation highlighted the importance of teams being aligned in vision and staying true to your North Star as a founder.
We kicked off 2026 with a powerful panel featuring Amie Patel (Elevar Equity), Aury M. Cifuentes (How Women Invest), and Zoe van den Bol (Alpha Partners), who brought distinct perspectives spanning impact-driven and revenue-focused investing. Despite their different theses and career stages, they aligned on backing strong founders, taking thoughtful risks, and the importance of women building expertise, networks, and ownership in venture. One key takeaway: if we want funding to shift, more women need to influence where capital flows — especially at the LP level.
Blair Boyajian, the head of Business Development and Brand Partnerships at Daydream, joined us for an intimate conversation about all things fashion x startups, partnerships, and the future of AI in the e-commerce space

An interactive session with founders Indianna Roehrich (Tomorrow-Today Beauty) and Trisha Goyal (BreakSports), where students got to ask questions and learn directly from founders about building in beauty and sports tech.
